Avalon 2025: A Sky-High Week for Revesco Aviation
Avalon 2025 has officially wrapped—and what a phenomenal week it was for all of us! From the moment we opened Pod 33 in Hall 4, we were blown away by the energy, passion and curiosity of everyone who stopped by. Whether you were an aspiring pilot, a seasoned professional, or simply someone who loves the smell of jet fuel in the morning, it was a privilege to meet you and share what we do best—shaping the next generation of pilots.

We showcased our world-class, CASA-approved training programs, connected with industry leaders and flight schools during the Trade Days, and impressed pilots with our fully immersive flight simulators, many of whom scheduled training and endorsement sessions with us.
The Career Days and Public Days were equally electric—we heard stories, answered questions and hopefully inspired a few future instructors along the way.
For us, this year’s Avalon Australian International Airshow wasn’t just about showcasing technology or ticking boxes—it was about meaningful connection. From long-standing industry partners to aspiring pilots, we left Avalon energised and excited for what’s ahead. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by—we look forward to staying connected until Avalon 2027!
Simulators: the bold and the beautiful
The massive Boeing 777-200 flight simulator has been the cornerstone of our Advanced Flight Training Centre for years, offering Airline Pilot Interview Preparation and Multi-Crew Cooperation courses. Behind the scenes, however, we’ve been expanding our capabilities with the addition of not one, but two new flight simulators. Both are works-in-progress and nearly ready to launch.

Once complete, the state-of-the-art DA42 flight simulator will be the perfect companion to our DA42-VI Diamond Training Aircraft, allowing us to offer pilots a safe, efficient and economical training pathway for their careers. The second is the high-demand Beechcraft King Air B200 flight simulator, the ideal complement to our Beechcraft King Air B200 training aircraft. Once CASA-approved, it will enable pilots to log actual flight time to gain and maintain their ratings and endorsements, offering a more affordable and flexible option within their training schedules.
We can’t wait to open our booking systems for these new simulators and look forward to keeping you updated on our progress. We’re almost there — and we’re excited!
Pilots: Instructors and students
The Flight School is growing. With the addition of new training aircraft and instructors, we’ve welcomed many pilots and instructors who are upgrading their skills, completing their Multi-Crew Cooperation course and preparing for their airline pilot interview in the B777-200 Flight Simulator.
Our Introductory Flights (TIF) have taken off, along with the number of instructors successfully upgrading their instructor ratings and endorsements.
Photo Ops: In the air and on the ground
Our pilots’ love of flying is often eclipsed by the view — with sights like these, we just had to share. Enjoy!
