Revesco Aviation is excited to welcome Katrina to our Advanced Flight Training team as a GR2 Flight Instructor.
Katrina’s appointment marks a milestone for Revesco Aviation as the first female instructor to join the Advanced Flight Training team, bringing experience teaching airline cadets from around the world, along with Instrument Rating and Multi-Engine Training Endorsements and a strong focus on safety, professionalism and building confidence in the cockpit.
As a Grade 2 Flight Instructor, Katrina strengthens the depth of experience across the Advanced Flight Training team while also providing a visible example of where an aviation career can lead, particularly for female aviators looking to continue developing their skills, move into instruction and advance their careers.
Beginning in 2013 as a Vocational Education and Training (VET) student in high school, Katrina’s aviation journey progressed from gaining her Private Pilot Licence to becoming a Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor, before adding Instrument Rating and Multi-Engine qualifications to her experience.
For Katrina, good instruction is about creating a supportive and enjoyable environment where students feel confident to learn, ask questions and develop the knowledge and decision-making skills needed to become safe and capable pilots.

Katrina has no intention of standing still. Her next goal is to progress to a GR1 Flight Instructor Rating before working towards becoming a Flight Examiner.
Recognising opportunities and having the confidence to pursue them has been an important part of Katrina’s own aviation career. It is an approach that continues to drive her forward and one she encourages in her students, helping them see each new qualification, skill and experience as another step towards where their own aviation career could lead.
