Morning Arrivals

Morning
Arrivals.

For early risers, Cottesloe Beach offers stunning views, perfect for a refreshing dip in the Indian Ocean and a beachfront breakfast. Start your day in Perth City with a walk “around the bridges” on Riverside Drive, taking in serene park views as the sun rises over the distant Darling Ranges. Afterwards, take a private water taxi for unique skyline views or hop on a ferry for a leisurely Swan River cruise, stopping at riverside cafés or visiting Perth Zoo in South Perth.

Evening
Arrivals.

Discover the vibrant blend of nature, culture and leisure with an evening visit to Kings Park and Botanic Garden, where you can picnic as the sun sets and the city lights illuminate the skyline. Alternatively, head to Elizabeth Quay to admire modern sculptures and dine at a waterfront restaurant. For a livelier experience, explore Northbridge’s renowned nightlife, featuring the cafés and restaurants of Yagan Square and Chinatown or vibrant bars offering local wines and craft beers.

Trips.

Fly to Rottnest Island to for a segway tour around the lighthouse and selfie with a quokka before snorkelling or scuba diving the pristine bays and unwind at a Samphire Hotel. Head north to Kalgoorlie to trace the history of the gold rush. For a taste of the south, visit the Margaret River region to savour exquisite wines, artisan cheeses and handmade chocolates, set amidst the ancient Karri tree forests and the pure white sands of Western Australia’s renowned southern beaches.

Weekend
Breaks.

Tropical getaways like Broome and Bali are best explored from May to August, both less than a 3.5-hour flight from Perth—so close, we consider them an extension of our backyard. In Broome, enjoy white beaches, interactive tours, the Shinju Matsu festival, dolphin spotting, whale watching, camel rides and sunset cruises. In Bali, explore exotic temples, the cultural heritage of the mountains and indulge in fresh cuisine and five-star boutique accommodations that will have you returning time and again.

Energy
to Burn.

There are plenty of fun ways to discover Perth, from hiring a bike to explore Kings Park and the Swan River foreshore to riding an e-scooter along the riverside pathways. Water enthusiasts can enjoy activities like paddleboarding, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing or jet skiing, with hire options available at Swan River locations such as The Boathouse, Mill Point Road in South Perth, Mounts Bay Sailing Club, South of Perth Yacht Club and Point Walter.
