OVERVIEW
Our Single Pilot Cessna Citation 550/560 Type Rating and Differences Training Endorsement is a specialised CASA-approved program that includes intensive ground school and flight training. It equips pilots with the knowledge and skills required to operate the aircraft professionally as a single pilot—without a second-in-command. The course covers:
- Aircraft Systems
- Performance
- Flight Planning and Procedures for Single-Pilot Operation
- Ground School
- Simulator Training
DURATION
Our 6 day Single Pilot Cessna Citation 550/560 Type Rating and Differences Training Endorsement course is conducted at Revesco Aviation’s Jandakot Training Centre.
PREREQUISITES
To commence Initial Training you must hold at a minimum:
- Private Pilot Licence (PPL), Commercial (CPL) or Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
- Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEA)
- GTE and PXS Design Feature endorsements
- Current Aviation Medical Certificate
- Recommended: experience operating with EFIS cockpit, preferably with Primus 1000 avionics and Universal FMS
CASA REQUIREMENTS
Completion of this course satisfies the following requirements:
- CASR Part 61 Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) for Multi-Engine Aeroplane (MEA)
- Flight Review (FR)
- All applicable recency requirements
For overseas pilots intending to operate the 550/560 in a multi-crew environment, a Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course is also available.
FLIGHT TEST
Once training is complete and all course requirements have been met for the Single Pilot Cessna Citation 550/560 Type Rating and Differences Training Endorsement, Revesco Aviation will conduct your Flight Test in our the Cessna Citation 550/560.
