OVERVIEW
The Beechcraft King Air B200 Initial Training Course provides pilots with the required training to operate a B200 equipped with Collins Pro Line 21 avionics. Completion of this course will satisfy the requirements of a CASR Part 61 instrument proficiency check (IPC) for multi-engine aeroplane (MEA), flight review (FR) and all recency requirements. It delivers the essential knowledge and skills to operate in either a single-pilot or multi-crew environment, with a comprehensive focus on:
- B200 Systems
- Flight Planning
- Weight and Balance
- Performance
- In-Flight Operation
DURATION
The course is a 7-day competency-based program conducted at our Advanced Flight Training Centre located at Jandakot Airport in Western Australia.
PREREQUISITES
To commence Initial Training you must hold at a minimum:
- Private Pilot Licence (PPL), Commercial (CPL) or Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
- Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEA)
- GTE and PXS Design Feature endorsements
- Current Aviation Medical Certificate
- Recommended: experience operating with EFIS cockpit, preferably with Collins ProLine 21 avionics
CASA REQUIREMENTS
Completion of this course satisfies the following requirements:
- CASR Part 61 Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) for Multi-Engine Aeroplane (MEA)
- Flight Review (FR)
- All applicable recency requirements
For overseas pilots intending to operate the B200 in a multi-crew environment, a Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course is also available.
FLIGHT TEST
Once training is complete and all course requirements have been met, Revesco Aviation will conduct your Flight Test in a Beechcraft King Air B200 Aircraft or a Level D Flight Simulator (FFS).
