Initial Training Course

This course provides pilots with the training to:

  • Operate the King Air B200 equipped with Collins Pro Line 21 avionics

Upon successful completion of this course, the specifications of a CASA Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) and Flight Review and Recency Requirements will also be satisfied

Pilots will acquire an in depth understanding of:

  • Aircraft Systems
  • Flight Planning
  • Weight and Balance
  • Performance

This course can be conducted to provide training for either Single Pilot or Multi-Crew operation.

The King Air B200 Initial Training is a six-day course conducted at a Simulator and Flight Training Centre.

Pilots will have access to a full-motion Level D King Air B200 simulator on-site to complete their training.

Eligibility to commence this King Air B200 Initial Training, you must hold at least:

  • Multi Engine Class Rating (MEA)
  • Private Pilot Licence
  • Command Instrument Rating
  • Current Aviation Medical
  • Previous EFIS cockpit experience, preferably with Collins ProLine 21 avionics systems
